From its humble origins back in 2006 at Sydney’s Randwick Racecourse, Future Music Festival has once again raised the bar with a huge line-up for 2013. The national festival will hit the shores of Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide in March of next year, pulling together some of the biggest live headliners in the game. So which artists are making the trip down under to end our summer season on a killer note?
Naming themselves after the first synthesizer they used to produce music, the infamous ‘The Prodigy’ will be bringing its heavy base-driven music to all cities on the tour. Accompanying them in the Warrior Dance Area is German producer ‘Boys Noize’, bass heavy ‘Feed Me,’ bringing with him his first live Australian show and many other heavy sounds from ‘Zeds Dead’, ‘Kill The Noise’ and ‘Borgore’.
The legendary troupe ‘The Stone Roses’ will be making their return with a live performance in all cities, along-side performances from ‘Bloc Party’, ‘Dizzee Rascal’, ‘Azealia Banks’ and current popsters ‘Fun.’ Then there is the curveball, special guest ‘Psy’ with his 400 million views on the Youtube hit Gangnam Style.
If you want to get amongst it, First release tickets go on sale this Thursday October 18 through the Future Music website so set a reminder!
