    One of the highlights of Ed Sheeran live shows in the last while has been his decision to cover Foy Vance’s beautiful song “Guiding Light” as an encore. Here he is doing it at Nashville’s famous Ryman Auditorium – only he’s got Foy up on stage with him:

     

    *as per usual with live concert footage from fans please excuse the shaky visuals… get a tripod people!



    The only problem has been that Foy didn’t actually have a version of the song recorded and ready to buy. But he does now on his very good album “Joy Of Nothing” (Glassnote):

     


    So now you can get this excellent song, and 9 others, and make up for the fact you just missed his debut tour in Australia.

    And as displayed by the image above he’s probably sporting the best moustache in pop (outside Billy Childish)

    And it’s not even November yet.
