If there's one thing that could round off 2020, it was an updated version of Nickelback's Photograph - and thankfully, Nickelback have delivered.
The Canadian rockers have teamed up with Google Photos to re-work the song for 2020, because it's been 15 years since the track was originally released.
For almost 20 years, the Internet has been poking fun at the track, but now it's Nickelback's turn. They've embraced the meme for the parody, which sees Google Photos reminding users to look at the photos they've taken in the past.
This year has been a great time to look back at past memories, both the good and the bad. The new version of Photograph is a time capsule of just how strange this year has been, and even embraces the ramen memes that the original spawned.
Speaking about the partnership, lead singer Chad Kroeger says, “Fifteen years ago, we had no idea that the photos on our mobile devices would become such a ubiquitous part of all of our lives.
“When Google approached us with the idea about marrying the song with Google Photos we felt like it would be a fun and nostalgic way to give the song a lyrical refresh and share some of our favorite memories.”
