Coldplay brought their A Head Full Of Dreams tour to Sydney last night and further proved their status as one of, if not THE, biggest bands in the world. Exploding onto the Allianz stadium stage in a whirlwind of fireworks and confetti, Chris Martin & co. treated the crowd to a spectacular show peppered with songs from their two decade-long discography.
Old and young, and in between, all got their moment: whether it be the nostalgia-ridden doleful tones of Yellow, the jubilancy of 2015's Adventure Of A Lifetime or even the timely performance of Christmas Lights. The band didn't just stick to their own songs though, also covering David Bowie's Heroes and, what Chris Martin described as 'Australia's national anthem', John Farnham's You're The Voice.
Coldplay are hitting the Sydney stage again tonight and there's still a couple of tickets left!
