Post Malone, like many people, is a big fan of Pokémon, and he's set to help them celebrate their 25th anniversary.
Pokémon's 25th anniversary is set to happen on February 28th, and to celebrate Posty will be headlining a virtual concert as part of their anniversary celebrations.
In a trailer for the event, Posty turns into an animated Pokémon trainer, ready to walk onto the stage. Speaking about the concert, he says, "I've been a Pokémon fan for a long time. So the opportunity to headline the Pokémon Day concert celebrating 25 years is awesome."
The concert is part of the franchise's 'P25 Music' program, which is set to be a year-long series. It'll be debuting new songs from"rising artists and award-winning superstars like pop icon Katy Perry."
Not much more is known about it yet, but they're set to work with different artists to create music "through the lens of Pokémon". Colour us intrigued!
You'll be able to watch the concert via Pokemon's YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as the Pokémon website. It's all set to go down on February 28th from 11AM AEDT.
