We hardly know the feeling of a white Christmas here in Australia, instead opting for barbeques, swimming pools and a cold beer instead of a glass of brandy, a roast and a fireplace.
But The Wombats have brought a slice of White Christmas wonder to triple j's Like A Version today, covering the 1942 Bing Crosby classic complete with a string section, Christmas trees and a tinsel-wrapped Murph.
We're loving its classiness (including Tord swapping the bass for a cello!), but a Wombats set wouldn't be the same without a welcome appearance from an actual wombat and we get that near the end as it straddles and loves up on Murph.
We might be wrong but we think it might be the oldest song ever covered on Like A Version too, bringing the 76-year-old Christmas tune to life.
For their original, the trio took on a track from Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life called Turn, keeping the string and horn sections and cello for the rendition.
The band have also revealed a brand new clip for Oceans this week, shot at Melbourne's own St Kilda Beach ahead of their show that night.
