Sydney trio Loretta have built a fanbase for themselves after releasing a string of singles that have become known as 'heartbreak pop', and their latest single, All I Know, will have you in your feelings. It's one of their most symbolic releases to date, and we're stoked to be premiering the track right now!
The song is summer-ready, with the guitar parts from the song in particular sounding euphoric. If you're a fan of guitar-driven pop, then you'll dig All I Know. It started out as a happy song, before circumstances changed for lead singer Ellis Hall. Nevertheless, the song became a symbol of acceptance for both him and the band, and it's a great way for them to round out a year of releases.
Loretta's music captures the ups and downs of young love - the excitement of the early stages, the transformation of lust into love, as well as the dissolution of love. Speaking about All I Know, the band says, "This song had a few different forms. We’d written it with songwriter/producer Cam Nacson last year and then really spent some time with the song. We played it live for about a year until it slowly began to develop into something that really felt like us.
"The vision we had for All I Know was to create something people would really remember, drawing inspiration from music we all grew up listening to like Empire Of The Sun & MGMT, really trying to unpack what made that music feel so good then and now." We're tipping that All I Know will quickly become a fan-favourite when it's played live.
