When it was announced last year that Rage Against The Machine were reuniting to headline Coachella in 2020, Australians everywhere were hoping they'd be making the trip Down Under.
After all, the band went on hiatus since 2011, so it's high time they made their way back here, to see what's changed - or to just put on a bloody great show for Aussies everywhere.

Unfortunately, Splendour In The Grass organisers announced the news that they weren't able to secure the band for this year's line-up - putting to rest people's hopes and dreams.
Festival organisers took to social media to say, “Unfortunately and just for those still hoping, RATM can’t make Australia around Splendour, we tried our very best."
It sounds like the band weren't able to make it work with their schedule, rather than not wanting to come to the country at all - so there is still hope. Cross your fingers and toes.
