    It makes us both angry and sad to know Phife Dawg has passed away. 45 is just way, way, way too young.

    Even though there's an argument that he was Robin to Q-Tip's Batman (mainly in part to Tip being the actual definition of cool), there's no denying that Phife served up some of hip hop's most quotable lyrics; also, a lot of it was in the way he said it, not what he said and for those of us who follow the Quest, and that must include all the rappers of today from Kendrick to Kanye, he’s a key man from THE crew..

    While people seem to be awfully nice about Midnight Marauders in recent times (which is an absolute classic) for our money The Low End Theory is one of the greatest records ever, so out of respect share a minute and nod...

     

     

     
    Jazz? He had it. Maybe more than Kamasi, Kendrick and all the new schoolers...
