It sounds like 2018 is going to be SAFIA's year as they're prepping to drop some new music.
The Canberra trio dropped Cellophane Rainbow this year, their first release since their debut album, and there's more where that came from.
Frontman Ben Woolner spoke to triple j today about what they've been up to and basically their year has consisted of heaps of studio time.
“We’ve been working on a whole heap [of tracks] and figured we’d get one of them out as a little taste tester,” he said, adding that they've been "hermiting," in the studio.
As for when it's all going to see the light of day, you may not have to wait too long.
"Definitely early next year," Woolner said.
"I think the plan is hopefully early next year and as it stands right now, we want to get as much music as we can out [in 2018]."
Hooray!
