If you haven’t heard of Santigold, I hate you. Maybe that’s coming across a little strong as I’m sure you have a reasonable excuse for you oblivious…ness, but she is combination gorgeous (irrelevant) and talent (important) so I just want what’s best for you. If hating you into listening to her music is what I need to do here, then do it I will. Regardless, as stated, she is dynamite. She’s only had one full-length out so far (which folks lost their collective mind over) but now we find ourselves on the cusp of her second release Master of My Make-Believe. The album art (above) features Santigold thrice over, twice lubed up in gold, once as a suited male. She’s allowed us a very short but interesting glimpse into the artwork’s making which you can see here. Preeeeetty cool.
Meanwhile, her second single ‘Disparate Youth’ is good to go. Have a peek below. This track is big.
The new record will be out on Friday, April 27. Get keen.
