Purveyors of a dreamy mixture of psychedelics and atmospheric indie-pop, Byron Bay locals SEASIDE have premiered their latest single Dopamine with us here at Cool Accidents.
The quartet, led by singer Darcy Dexter, says the woozy song is "about being so caught in the whirlwind that is love - letting it consume you and throw you around without giving it a definition or needing to explain it. It can be both the best and worst feeling all at once, but it’s the one thing that universally ties us all together.”
Having performed at festivals like Splendour In The Grass, Party In The Paddock and BIGSOUND early on in their careers, SEASIDE's new stuff seems to mark a more confident yet introspective sound during a grueling time for the globe.
The group have also dropped some behind-the-scenes shots of recording the song on their Instagram - check it out below.
