    Skegss brought the idyllic summer vibes to the triple j studios this morning, when they took on a cover of Pixies' Here Comes Your Man as well as their own Road Trip with fellow legend Alex The Astronaut.

    The cover of Pixies also interpolated a dash of The Velvet Underground classic I'm Waiting For The Man, injecting both songs with their trademark surf rock laidback attitude, like three mates picking up instruments at a house party backyard for an impromptu performance.

    Their My Own Mess original Road Trip however stayed recognisably breezy, with Alex on backup vocal and guitar duties. We also love that she's wearing a Skegss t-shirt.

    Check out both live songs and catch the Skegss boys on their massive Aussie tour this June, starting June 21st until July 14th.
