When artists interview other artists, there's often a lot of interesting things to learn from the interview - and a recent interview that saw Skrillex interviewing 100 Gecs is no exception.
Skrillex interviewed the duo for Paper Magazine, and the chat was a really interesting one, covering both artists' musical inspirations - as well as both parties showing a lot of love for one another.
One part of the interview sees Skrillex asking "what was the record that you put on and never were the same after" to which Laura chose one of Skrillex's tracks, saying, "The crazy thing, probably, if I had to pick one song, it would probably be Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites. It changed everything."
Meanwhilem Skrillex described 100 Gecs' album 1000 Gecs as "one of the most exciting things that happened in the whole decade. I really mean that" which is a huge compliment coming from one of the biggest electronic artists in the world.
They also touch on demonstrating their humanity through their musc, as well as the decisions made around releasing new music - as well as the way the music industry will perceive itself, and those within it, after the events of 2020.
