After almost two years, producer Skrillex has delivered his first official new song and it's an epic team-up called Midnight Hour.
Teaming up with German producer Boys Noize and rapper Ty Dolla $ign - who actually flexes his stunning soul vocals in this track - the song is 'UUUUGE. We are utterly obsessed with Midnight Hour and will be having it on repeat for the foreseeable future.
The song is an unexpected R&B/house/trap fusion that we've never considered in this way and feels well worth the wait, considering we haven't heard much solo stuff from Skrillex recently.
He actually quietly debuted it at ULTRA Miami earlier this year, bringing out Ty Dolla $ign on stage.
He's been working with the likes of Ed Sheeran, fka Twigs and Boys Noize as part of the duo Dog Blood, but off the back of this, we're so keen to see what Skrillex has in store for us under his own name.
