Man, do we miss gigs. The sticky floors, bumping into friends, losing your voice at the end of the night from all the singing, and even the sweatiness of the strangers around us. You truly don't know what you'll miss 'til it's gone.
Unfortunately, gigs as we know it haven't been around for over six months and probably won't be back for quite a while longer, but still, we're so keen to hear the reverberations of an actual instrument in a venue which is why Sloan Peterson has made our day/week/month with this news.
The indie pop gem has announced two shows at Sydney's cosy Lazy Bones Lounge in Marrickville this November and we. cannot. wait. It'll be a socially distanced and COVIDSafe gig with ample seating and reduced capacity, but Sloan will be jumping on stage November 5th and 6th to play a couple of sets and we couldn't be more hyped.
It seems like Sloan's teasing some new music with a cheeky #Nightmare hashtag too and if it's anything like the chic '60s era French rock meets electronic pop vibes we've come to love from her, we're gonna lap it up.
