Aussie pop enigma Sloan Peterson dropped her sassy new single Nightmare a couple of months ago now and we're still learning so much about it. She took us behind the scenes of the uber cool music video and now she's spoken a bit more about how she wrote the single a few years ago in Bali.
In this special Track Chat video, Sloan shows us the journal she initially wrote the lyrics in (in four different coloured inks no less), how the lyrics changed from its initial inception to now as well as special footage of an acoustic studio session.
"I just wanted it to be SO dramatic, I wanted every sound effect to hit you in the face. I wanted everything you could imagine," she explains about producing Nightmare with Andy Hopkins.
Sloan also explains, "it's really fun to work with other people because a lot of the time you bring an idea forward, they can help you dissect it and make it sound coherent with the rest of the storyline."
It's a cool watch and makes us wanna be buddies with Sloan more than ever. She's even dropped a cool new acoustic version of the song.
