Australian Spice Girls fans (so, everyone) thought they got the news of a lifetime over the weekend, when Mel B let slip on stage at their final London reunion concert that they would be heading our way in February 2020.
She literally said, "We will see you in February in Australia!"

Unfortunately it seems that Mel's gone and blabbed a little early, without full confirmation that the tour's actually happening.
As Junkee reports, Mel took to 2DayFM this morning to say, "Well, you know what, you know me by now, I always say The Spice Girls are going to continue and continue and tour the world.
“My thing is — and I’ve got a bit of a bee in my bonnet about it — is that we need to come to Australia first… so I announced it onstage, yes, without everyone else signing off 100 percent, but I figured if I put it out there, it might actually happen.”
You can't just say things like that, Mel!!!
Or maybe this is an elaborate ruse - maybe she actually leaked the news and the group's team are scrambling to cover up her tracks.
Anyway, we're hoping she's right and by telling the 90,000 attendees of their London show, she's somehow gonna will it into existence.
We'll be waiting with our fingers poised over the 'buy' button.
