Spotify has just launched a service that provides you with a real time playlist based on the weather.
The service grabs info on the weather in your exact location and then makes you a playlist with songs that suit that climate and it goes deeper than recommending Christine Anu's Sunshine On A Rainy Day during a sun shower.
Today, CA is in stinking hot Sydney and Spotify has put together a fire playlist for us including Bring Me The Horizon's Avalanche, Kanye West's Power and James Blunt's Goodbye My Lover. Wait, what?
Obviously it's not going to get your entire mood right but it's pretty spot on. The playlists were formulated after Spotify monitored 12 months of weather habits and matched it to 85 billion music streams.
If you're not digging your playlist you can switch to different weather like rain, wind and snow.
It's called Climatune and you can explore it here.
