Tame Impala (aka Kevin Parker) always has something up his sleeve, and we've just received heaps of exclusive footage of the recording of their huge 2010 album InnerSpeaker.
The short film, titled InnerSpeaker Memories, was filmed in Injidup, Western Australia by Matt Sav, and was edited by Alex Haygarth. It's a great insight into the album that turned Kevin Parker into a global star, and the chaos that surrounded the album.
In the film, you get to see Kevin Parker working at Wave House Studios in Western Australia (which he's subsequently bought), as well as listening to DJ Shadow's Entroducing in the car.
There are also clips of him going wild on the drums, as well as Kevin telling a story about the storm that meant he had to stop recording Jeremy's Storm from the album.
The short film has been released to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the album. Tame Impala have also a box set released to coincide with the anniversary, featuring lots of never-before-seen/heard goodies.
