After a lot of speculation, as well as a couple of mysterious videos on their website, Tame Impala have confirmed the title of their next album, The Slow Rush. The album is due out in 2020, and is a follow-up to 2015's hugely successful Currents.
While there's been no album news for a little while now prior to this, that doesn't mean that Kevin Parker (the man behind Tame Impala) has been quiet, most recently producing Post Malone's Circles off his new album, Hollywood's Bleeding.
Tame Impala have also taken to Instagram to share the artwork for the upcoming album, which is quite frankly stunning.
Earlier this year, Tame Impala released a couple of singles, Borderline and Patience, but there's no word as of yet whether these songs will appear on the album.
Back in May, Parker explained the delay on the new album to NME, saying that the creative process can't be rushed. “Part of the thing about me starting an album is that I have to feel kind of worthless again to want to make music,” he explained.
