Fans were sent into a frenzy when the Brit indie rockers hinted at an Aussie tour back in early September, but today The 1975 have finally locked in their first headline run since January 2016.
Taking in five shows in massive venues around the country in September 2019, the quartet will have their hotly anticipated new album A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships in hand, which is due out later this month.
This album has brought about a lot of mysterious activity from the band - they took on a super cryptic online persona, broke up and reformed (apparently), hid zip files in posters and altogether raised a lot of questions about what the hell they were doing.
At least we know they've got Australia in their sights though - and the best part is, only a few months before they arrive they'll be dropping another new record called Notes On A Conditional Form in May 2019.
The 1975 tour Australia on September 20th (Melbourne), September 21st (Sydney), September 22nd (Brisbane), September 25th (Adelaide) and September 27th (Perth).
