The forever reliable Future Classic are back at it again with a new addition to their ‘all killer no filler’ roster by way of Victorian producer Thrupence.
Thrupence aka Jack Vanzet is a talented artist (both of the audio and visual variety) and has been releasing quality beat tapes over on his Bandcamp page since 2010.
The latest offering Lessons is his 4th conceptual mixtape and if the lead single Don’t You Mind is any indication of what we’re in store for then Future Classic have gone and done it again.
It’s got a bit of a Since I Left You Avalanches meets Moby Play vibe about it and will no doubt find its way onto the next Hotel Costes or Ministry of Sound Chillout compilation (are they even still making those things?) which provides a nice juxtaposition to the Flume & Wave Racer bangers that have propelled Future Classic into being one of the 'It’ labels around the world.
You can already pre-order the LP which comes in a super rad/super limited (edition of 300) splattered 180gram 12" vinyl record format. Yes please.
