    To celebrate the fact that Tom Waits has agreed to perform live on David Letterman’s farewell series it seems a good time to dust off a Tom rarity.

    The animated short “Tom Waits … For No One” (geddit?) was based around an actual Waits stage performance of “The One That got Away” filmed and then animated.

    We are sort of excited about the news he’s live on TV again, whilst also fretting in case it’s Tom’s farewell at the same time.
