    Ty Dolla $ign has been on a roll recently, working with the likes of J. Cole and Kehlani as well as exploring features with artists outside his genre like Skrillex, Lykke Li and The Chainsmokers.

    Now he's headed to The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to have the (purple) spotlight shone on him as he performs a medley of Purple Emoji and a new song called Hottest In The City, off his next album.

    He medleys the two tracks together, allowing it to start soulful with Purple Emoji before the upbeat Hottest In The City kicks in. 

    And - like many celebs who are concerned with the situation - he ends the performance with "Free A$AP Rocky!", who is still detained in Sweden after an altercation last month.
