    The race for number one in the US this week has been a damn mess.

    Billboard who do all the counting had to delay the announcement of the charts because a top tier data provider "encountered technical problems" and also because the race to number one was so close.

    The two battling out were Tyler, The Creator's Flower Boy and Lana Del Rey's Lust For Life (shout out Meek Mill who wasn't far behind - his record is good, listen here). Lana eventually pipped Tyler by only 1,000 copies which is absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.

    Tyler has since congratulated the victor but he's really not coping.

    "1,000 IM FUCKING HOT OMG," he tweeted initially, before conceding that he, "DID GOOD WOW".

    Then he got angry again tweeting, "FUUUUCKKKKKKKK," before ending it all by writing, "AND IT LEAKED TWO WEEKS BEFORE WOW IM CUTE AS FUCK."

    Lana and Tyler's albums are two of the year's best and it was always going to be close but we can understand why Tyler is bummed but also hyped but also bummed.

    This is Lana's second number one in the US after Ultraviolence reached the top position. Tyler has never hit number one.
