Vampire Weekend have announced their first show in over four years suggesting that new music is imminent.

It's been five years since their last album Vampires Of The Modern City and Ezra Koenig has been slowly hinting that the next album is close to being finished.

Now, the band as been announced as the headliners of British festival End Of The Road.

The festival is in September so there's still a little bit of time to wait but Koenig has said that the new record will be out this year. He said it's, "close to being finished."

It's one of the 10 things we wanted to see in 2018 and it looks like it may happen now.
