    Vampire Weekend have surprised an Indiana crowd by casually dropping the theme to Parks & Recreation. 

    They slotted the melody of the song into M79 off their debut album and it actually fits suspiciously well.

    Without context this is a fantastic thing but it's even greater when you consider frontman Ezra Koenig has a child with partner Rashida Jones who played Ann Perkins in the show.

    The band are currently touring in support of their most recent record Father Of The Bride. Australian dates are yet to be announced but you better believe we expect the Parks & Rec theme song.
