It's been a minute since we've heard new Vince Staples music but the drought is over with new music promised for Friday.
Staples took to Twitter to announce the new project which is said to feature West Coast peers Kamaiyah, Jay Rock, Tyga and Lil Fade.
The ever-sarcastic rapper announced that the project was dedicated to his biggest fan which turns out to be his younger self.
“As artists we are nothing without the fans. I took time off from recording my next album to make a very special project dedicated to my biggest fan and supporter since day one,” he said.
“He said he needed something that represented him and where he comes from so here it is. Thank you for years of loyalty, I do this for people like you.”
It sounds like while this is not his new album, it's a project to keep fans (and his younger self) happy in the meantime.
Last year, Staples releases the critically lauded Big Fish Theory plus a standalone track Get The F**k Off My Dick.
WOW! This new Vince Staples will feature the likes of California legends such as Vince Staples, Lil Fade, Kamaiyah, Jay Rock, T Raw, Vince from Poppy AND MANY MORE !!!
