Vince Staples has launched a GoFundMe so that haters can silence him if they want to.
Staples is asking for $2 million to shut up for ever. That means no new music, no songs, no anything.
Apparently, it's because people have complained about his recent performances on a co-headline tour with Tyler The Creator.
"I think one person said ‘it sounds like we’re rapping on robot video game beats,’" he said.
The GoFundMe is already live and it's earned $1,164 at the time of writing. We are writing this because we think it's funny but we swear if any of you donate we're...well...we're going to be very unhappy with you.
Staples' Big Fish Theory was one of the most groundbreaking hip-hop records of last year and while some people aren't into it, we're pretty confident he's not going to make the $2 million target.
If he doesn't he says, "you can choose to let me do what the fuck I want to do, when I want to do it. Get off of my dick, or fund my lifestyle."
