    Wafia

Wafia has been on a bloody roll recently, dropping the A+ single Hurts featuring Louis The Child and Whethan, as well as featuring on producer Ekali's song Be Fine. She toured the country on a successful Listen Out run and now, Wafia's back with the song of the summer.

Flowers & Superpowers starts off with classic Wafia honesty, but when the chorus hits it's got a killer key change that feels a little warped, just a little kooky, like the world is starting to get a little topsy-turvy on you. And there's a good reason for that - Wafia was high as hell on edibles when she wrote the song with Wrabel.

"This is a love song about a time I ate a few too many edibles and was the worst/most paranoid/talkative version of myself," she explains on Instagram. "The whole time I was thinking if the person I was with would still love me after my embarrassing behaviour but they were nothing but loving, kind and caring as they helped bring me back down.

"This song is my favourite one yet, I’m so unbelievably proud of it and everyone involved in every aspect."

Though the music video is amazing, to make sure you've got your lyrics down pat when Wafia's headline shows roll around this January, Cool Accidents has also whipped up a lyric video for the song. Check it out below!
