    Wafia

When you see Wafia live, you can tell she's a humble, down-to-earth chick. So much so that in this interview we shot with the Australian singer/songwriter, she says she can't believe she wrote one of her biggest songs, I'm Good.

"Listening to I'm Good, I'm like, 'oh I wrote this?' I kind of feel separate from my work a lot of the time, especially after a period of time has elapsed. But especially with that song, I can't believe that song did what it did and that it's mine and I wrote it."

Well, we can believe it. Wafia's penned a slew of amazing songs over the years, from Bodies to Only Love to Heartburn and Window Seat way back when, and her new song Flowers & Superpowers just makes it obvious Wafia's teeming with talent.

In this new video, Cool Accidents caught up with the LA-based singer on how she practices self-care, the responsibility she feels to educate others and what advice she would give young Wafia.

She's a big fan of plants, so we took her to the Botanical Gardens in Sydney to be one with the trees, cacti and flowers and she looks right at home.

We also created an exclusive lyric video of her new song; check it out below and make sure you subscribe to Cool Accidents on YouTube!
