Who is Asher?

Hailing from Byron Bay, Asher is an teenage artist who produces, records, mixes, raps, sings and writes his own music, all made in his home studio. Talk about being multi-talented.

Creating art is in his blood - he comes from an artistic family. He was also a national-level sportsman before choosing to chase his music dream.

What makes him special?

While he's only dropped a few singles, he's standing out amongst the crowd as one of Australia's most exciting pop/R&B voices. He's got melodies for days, and his infectious hooks will get stuck in your head.

He first got our attention with POPPIN, which is a great first example of the kind of music Asher wants to make. It's got a bit of a Weeknd vibe going on, so you'll find yourself getting lost in the music - that's the kind of power he has.

Since POPPIN, he's released both You Got It and Idols, proving that he's here for the long haul. You Got It is a reminder to have confidence in yourself, while Idols saw him paying tribute to those that have inspired him on his come-up.

What's his latest track?

He's just released his new track, Manifest, which sees him talking about chasing your dreams. It's a poppy track that's perfect for when you're doubting yourself and you need a reason to keep going. He's written and produced the track on his own, and we keep being blown away by his talent.

Speaking about the track, Asher says he wanted it to be a time capsule for him to look back at. “I’ve always been a big believer in manifestation and I’ve always wanted to write a song detailing where I want to be in the future. I wrote it as a way for me to have something to look back on in 5 years and see everything I have achieved.”
