Scottish musician Dylan Fraser has arrived with his debut track Vipers, but for fans it's a long time coming. He's made a name for himself uploading covers to YouTube and Instagram, and it's exciting to see him branching out into writing his own music.
Dylan first picked up a guitar at 12, but even before then he was looking to have a career in music. He's always had an eye for both the visual and audio sides of music, as his debut track Vipers is soon to be accompanied by a video that he's directed. He's determined to show the world his vision, through every piece of art he creates.
His debut track Vipers sees him dealing with the inner turmoil that comes with chasing a musical dream, and how he's managing to make his way through it. He's always wanted to be a musician, but now the dream is more real than ever, and he's grappling with that. As much of a fan of folk as he is hip-hop, he's not afraid to weave different genres together to get the sounds he's looking for.
Dylan names influences as varied as Radiohead, Phoebe Bridgers and Kanye West - all artists that allowed him to dream. Growing up in the small Scottish town of Bathgate, putting his own spin on his favourite songs allowed him to visualise becoming a musical star, something's that now on the way to reality because of his debut track Vipers.
