YoungBoy started out producing music with a Walmart microphone when he was 14. A mixtape soon followed, and in a 2-year stretch between 2015 and 2017, he released eight mixtapes, seeing him draw a lot of attention from the rap community.
His debut album, Until Death Call My Name, was released in April 2018, and spawned the singles Outside Today, Diamond Teeth Samurai and Astronaut Kid. The album features Future and Birdman, with YoungBoy more than holding his own amongst two of rap's big stars, and Outside Today remains one of his biggest songs.
His new mixtape, A.I YoungBoy 2 is set to drop tomorrow, a follow-up to one of his most popular mixtapes, 2017's A.I YoungBoy. It follows his single from September, House Arrest Tingz, where YoungBoy talks about his current house arrest situation.
