    Toro Y Moi’s Anything In Return is easily one of our standout albums of the year to date and for our money the 4th single Rose Quartz is THE jam off the record.

    They went and dropped the video for it the other day and it is pretty damn cool.
     

    For a split second I thought, what a rad and unique idea… but then my brain dug into the archives and remembered the classic abstract impressionist version of the Beastie Boys video for Shadrach…
     

    Maybe Chaz wasn’t aware of the clip or maybe being such a rad dude he was simply paying homage to 3 emcees that were on the go… either way both tunes are bangers and it’s always nice when one cool thing leads you to rediscover another.
