Born Ruffians - Birthmarks

Submitted by Site Factory admin on

Nearly a decade after their genesis, Born Ruffians still sound as raw and visceral as the day they were born.

Their third LP under the Born Ruffians name, Birthmarks seems to revel in that stripped back feeling. When all the superficiality has melted away, these songs remain, crashing reminders of their roots.

Where Has Sexy Gone?

When Justin Timberlake isn’t busy method acting, taking his role as online music mogul Sean ‘Napster’ Parker just a little too seriously and performing necromancy on dead social networks, he makes music, apparently. Who knew?

It’s been seven years since JT came out with the juggernaut album Futuresex/Lovesound, that’s the amount of time Twitter has been around.

Album Review - Eden Ahmez - Eden's Island (Re-issue)

Sometimes records just stop you in your tracks and you have to have them. It’s rare but it does happen. It’s happened a lot over the years to me but as you get older it gets rarer. Well, I reckon this album might do to you what it did it for me. This is a special record it has a great feel, some off key poetic lyrics and the vocal harmonies and arrangements are both sublime and enchanting. It’s different.
