If, like us, you spend hours upon hours watching the pretty waveforms listening to music on Soundcloud chances are you’ve heard music by Swedish producer Kleerup in some shape or form.
Having worked with and remixed the likes of Lady Gaga, Moby, Lykke Li, Robyn, Neneh Cherry, Cyndi Lauper & Jenny Lewis, Kleerup is considered musical royalty in his homeland and has also gained a tonne of respect outside of the land of Ikea, ABBA & high taxes as NME named him one of the 20 hottest producers in music back in 2010.
OK so 2010 was a l-o-n-g time ago but if his latest single Let Me In is anything to go by he could be making a push to make a few lists before the year is out.
Channeling some serious 80s Flashdance vibes, Kleerup has teamed up with vocalist Susanne Sundfør (of M83, Bjork and Röyksopp collaboration fame) to produce an absolute doozy of a disco stomper that will have you dusting off your polyester leisure suit in no time.
Let Me In is the instant grat part of his mini album As If We Never Won which can be pre-ordered through iTunes NOW.
