It's been 20 years since Shania Twain released That Don't Impress Me Much and she's finally revealed why she uses Brad Pitt in the line, "OK, so you think you're Brad Pitt? That don't impress me much."
Well, it turns out Twain was not that impressed with nude photos of Pitt that were published in Playgirl at the time.
“I remember I had a girl friend visiting me and it was near Christmas and we were baking cookies,” she told Billboard.
“I was writing this album and there was a scandal of [Pitt] and Gwyneth [Paltrow] where there was naked photos of him [in Playgirl magazine]."
Twain just didn't know what all the fuss was about adding, "We see people naked every day."
"That’s really what I thought.”
It kind of makes sense but we don't really see naked people every day, unless we're talking about ourselves.
She's clarified that it wasn't a dig at Brad Pitt (ending a 20 year beef that was never a thing) and it, "could have been any gorgeous guy."
Twain is about to release her comeback album Now which was kicked off with the lead single Life's About To Get Good.
