Sorry, but it wouldn't be Splendour In The Grass time if we didn't take a moment to brag about how many great moments there have been so far. Here are our faves:
Dune Rats Playing 'Scott Green'
Dune Rats arrived on motor bikes, had blow up beer cans floating around the crowd and created one of the most raucous moments of the day with Scott Green. The amphitheatre was fkn wild and it was one of the bigger crowds all day.
Aluna Flying Out For Peking Duk's Set
Peking Duk had plenty of surprises up their sleeves but nothing was bigger or better than Aluna from AlunaGeorge surprising everyone and coming halfway across the world to perform new single Fake Magic.
Confidence Man Making The Crowd Go Bonkers With 'Boyfriend (Repeat)'
Every time Confidence Man perform this track the crowd goes wild and yesterday was no different. In fact, it was probably a step up. The Mix-Up tent was going nuts very early in the day thanks to this.
Powderfinger's Surprise Reunion
Powderfinger came through with the biggest surprise of day two, marking 10 years since they last played Splendour with a cheeky reunion. As news spread people flooded to Bernard Fanning's set to celebrate what's sure to go down as one of the biggest moments of the weekend.
The xx's Hypnotising Performance Of On Hold
The xx's headline set on Friday was one of the highlights of the festival so far and no moment was better than On Hold. Coming off the back of Loud Places, Jamie xx played a short DJ set of pulsating music before he was once again joined by Romy and Oliver for this unbelievable moment.
Royal Blood Tearing Splendour A New One
You could literally hear Royal Blood all around the festival when they took to the stage last night. They win the award for the loudest set and if you were right there in the front row, it was something to behold. Blood massive.
Este Haim Launching Herself Into The Crowd
HAIM's set was easily one of the funnest and when Este wasn't grooving with the endearing bass face, she was standing above the crowd, relying on them to hold onto her legs. It was brave but she was loved all the more for it.
The Pirate Who Stripped During Allday's Set
Splendour is full of weird and wonderful surprises and while this was more of the former than the latter, it was still a memorable moment. Allday's set was stormed by a pirate who flashed the crowd and danced around. Just another day in Byron Bay, really.
Slumberjack Soaring With Vera Blue
Slumberjack know how to get a crowd moving and one of the most powerful moments of their set was when they brought out Vera Blue for Fracture. Her voice is spectacular and Slumberjack know how to compliment with big, powerful production. A huge moment for the Aussie duo.
