HAIM's new song, Feel The Thunder, was written for the upcoming film The Croods: A New Age, and it sees them rocking out like never before.

Feel The Thunder feels more like a hair-metal track than what we've ever heard from HAIM before, and it's seriously fun. HAIM own the goofiness of the track, and they pull it off with ease.

Speaking about the track, which they made with writer and producer Ariel Rechtshaid, Danielle Haim told Rolling Stone it was out of left-field. He's a huge Guns 'n' Roses fan, and that's the vibe they went for with Feel The Thunder.

Danielle says, “He’s obsessed with them – he went and saw them on their most recent tour a bunch of times. And so I figured that that’s what we were looking for. We were like, ‘Let’s get Ariel.’ But I’d never tried to make music like that before, so it was fully like a crazy experiment.”

The band used live-sounding drums on the track, which isn't the polished pop production they're used to implementing. However, the band sounds like they'd have made a great rock band in another life (and we wouldn't be surprised if they leaned more into this sound in the future).
