    The 2018 ARIA Awards are fast approaching and this year's nominees were revealed this morning, proving it's gonna be Amy Shark's year.

    The hard-working Gold Coast-based muso has picked up the most nominations this year with nine for her new album Love Monster, tied with indie rocker Courtney Barnett.

    Among Amy's nominations are ones for Best Female Act, Best Pop Release, Best Video and the coveted Apple Music Album Of The Year, while Courtney has picked up nods for Best Independent Release, Best Rock Album and Best Australian Live Act. 

    Other Aussies who are gonna be super excited come Awards night include Client Liaison (two nominations), Pnau (seven nominations), Tash Sultana (six nominations), Dean Lewis (five nominations), 5 Seconds Of Summer (four nominations) and Troye Sivan (four nominations).

    Other first time nominees this year include Alex Lahey, Odette, Ruel and Middle Kids.
