The National have just shared a video of them performing at the Sydney Opera House with an Australian flag emoji, suggesting they're returning here soon.
Fans are speculating that a tour announce is imminent which would make it their first tour here since 2014.
The band are gearing up to release a new album Sleep Well Beast which will be out 8th September, marking their first since 2013's excellent Trouble Will Find Me.
They have already announced the Sleep Well Beast tour with dates across the US and Europe but we'd be mighty grateful if they added us to the list, thanks.
Of course, this could be one big stitch up but let's be honest - The National aren't the kind of band to pull a funny are they?

Update: Our suspicions were correct. The National have announced an Australian tour for February 2018 and they will once again be playing the Sydney Opera House.
