BBC have just released the nominees for their Sound Of 2022 list, and it features some of music's biggest rising stars.
The list is released annually and predicts who's going to have a huge 12 months after the list is released, with past nominees including Stormzy, Adele and Haim.
This year's nominees include rising drill star Central Cee, garage enthusiast PinkPantheress and R&B singer-songwriter Priya Ragu, with all three artists releasing hit projects this year.
PinkPantheress and Central Cee are no strangers to each other, with Central Cee sampling PinkPantheress's Just For Me on his loved-up Obsessed With You. It's a track that's gotten stuck in our head, and is set to feature on his upcoming mixtape 23.
Following her huge success on social media, PinkPantheress released her debut mixtape To Hell With It, featuring the aforementioned Just For Me. It's a mixtape that hits you at breakneck speed, and it's as catchy as anything we've heard this year.
Priya Ragu's mixtape damnshestamil blends together elements of R&B, soul, Tamil folk music and pop, and it's a celebration of her heritage. It truly contains something for everyone, while showcasing her ability to weave through a myriad of genres with ease.
Other artists featured on the list include indie rockers Wet Leg, Afrobeats singer Tems and the poppy Baby Queen. The list was put together by 133 industry experts, including the likes of Charli XCX, Ed Sheeran, Foals and more.
