Beyoncé and Solange have always made up a pretty powerhouse family but last year they stepped it up and notch both release US number one albums which were also crticially acclaimed.
Bey is headlining Coachella this year while Solange will headline Panorama festival making them two of the most sought after people in music.
Now, for Interview mag big sis Bey has interviewed lil' sis Solange about her record A Seat At The Table and their own family.
"Growing up, you were always attracted to the most interesting fashion, music, and art," Bey says about Solange.
"I remember thinking, "My little sister is going to be something super special," because you always seemed to know what you wanted."
Solange threw compliments Bey's way too saying that she did a "kickass" job of being a big sister growing up.
While the cute-sy stuff is great to read, there are some really interesting takeaways from this interview including how Solange speaks about being a woman in music and producing, writing and sining.
"One thing that I constantly have to fight against is not feeling arrogant when I say I wrote every lyric on this album," Solange says.
"I remember Björk saying that she felt like, no matter what stage in her career, if a man is credited on something that she's done, he's going to get the credit for it. And, unfortunately, that still rings true."
It's well worth taking the time to dig into the interview today because it's full of wisdom by two of the most inspirtational and graceful artists in the biz.
