After a lot of speculation, your favourite boy band BROCKHAMPTON have finally announced their fifth studio album, Ginger.
Taking to Instagram to tease the album, the video features a snippet of a new song, shots of the BROCKHAMPTON members, and a graphic that announces the album will be out in August.
Ginger is a follow-up to 2018's Iridescence, which came out in September last year, and was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London.
However, the snippet isn't the first bit of music that's been shared off the album, with the group premiering a new song off Ginger at Bilbao BBK Live last weekend.
The band also recently shared a mysterious visual from the upcoming album, featuring Matt Champion, and an airplane.
Band leader, Kevin Abstract, recently spoke about the album to GQ, comparing it to Outkast's Hey Ya. "We want to make a summer album," he said. "Feel-good. Not too sad and like, "Oh, our life sucks," just more like, "Just enjoy what's in front of you."
The announcement of Ginger comes as BROCKHAMPTON were recently announced as headliners for FOMO Festival, which will be Australian audiences' first chance to hear songs from the new album live.
