    Charlotte Gainsbourg Drops First Album In Seven Years Featuring Half Of Daft Punk And SebastiAn

    Legendary French artist Charlotte Gainsbourg has released her first album in seven years.

    Rest is an emotional record that tracks her feelings after the death of her father Serge and her half-sister Kate Barry. It deals with sadness, anger and addiction.

    French producer SebastiAn has produced the record alongside Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, creating an often dark but sometimes strangely danceable record.

    This week she hosted a Beats 1 show taking listeners through songs from the record and influences and she'll also release an Apple Music film 'Charlotte by Charlotte' today to coincide with the record.

    The record has been preceded by three incredible music videos, one featuring friend Dev Hynes (Blood Orange) and you can listen to them as well as stream the record below.
