Donald Glover is an actor, comedian, writer, producer, director and musician, but it's looking like that last one might not be the case for much longer.
Performing at the second weekend of the Austin City Limits Music Festival, Glover told the crowd he's done performing as his musical alter-ego, Childish Gambino.
During the middle of his set, Glover said, “Welcome to our last show. That means this needs to be our craziest, most wild show."
He followed these comments up by playing a new song, but told fans he may never record it, and only ever play it live, saying “Act like this is your first and last time you’re ever going to hear this song."
Gambino was in the country earlier in the year for an unforgettable Splendour In The Grass performance. We hope he's only joking, but if he's not, he's certainly left a mark on music that'll last for years to come.
