Australian duo Client Liaison are back and it feels oh so good. The duo have made a reputation for crafting nostalgic, feel-good music that taps into different pockets of Australian history from Ansett Airways to questionable '80s fashion choices. Over the course of seven years they have released music that has soundtracked Aussie summers and the festivals that come with it (though those are slightly lighter on in 2020).

Intervention has arrived and it has us feeling a little nostalgic about the group. We've taken the opportunity to skip through our favourite memories in the history of Client Liaison.

    Current Banger Intervention

You may had already written off 2020 but thankfully Client Liaison have intervened. They are back with their first song of 2020 and it feels good to have them back. Not ones to let much get them down, they're bringing the good vibes with this groovy cut. “Nothing’s enough when we’re thinking too much. Sometimes it’s tough but we’ll never give up," the song declared, giving us that burst of positivity we need right now.

Sorrento Moon (I Remember) With Tina Arena At Splendour In The Grass 2017

Will we ever be as happy as we were watching Client Liaison and Tina Arena at Splendour 2017 again? Probably not. The duo surprised the amphitheatre with Australian icon Tina Arena, with the newly-formed trio bursting into her hit Sorrento Moon (I Remember). The wave of nostalgia and joy that came over the whole crowd was a sight to see. Not only one of Client Liaison's best moments but the festival as a whole as well.

The Foreign Affair Music Video With Tina Arena

Tina should be a full-time member of Client Liaison, just saying. After the earth-shattering Splendour appearance, they reunited once again for the Foreign Affair music video. The clip sees the three jet off into the skies on Ansett Airways (RIP). Once again, it's a nostalgic trip through a version of Australia long gone. Watching in 2020 comes with even more feels. What we wouldn't give for a glide through the skies on Ansett.

The Like A Version Cover Of Christine Anu And Regurgitator

Of course, Client Liaison were going to put respect on the name of two Australian pop icons when they finally took on triple j's Like A Version in 2014. The covered Anu's Party and Regurgitator's ! (The Song Formerly Known As) giving both songs a groove-infused treatment. The outfits were on point but their fashion sense has only gotten better since.

Their First Breakthrough Feed The Rhythm

When this dropped back in 2014 you could barely go through a full festival without hearing it. It introduced us to the Client Liaison sound we know and love now - steeped in nostalgia and bursting with good vibes. It was the glistening centrepiece of their debut, self-titled EP.

    Expo Liaison

Back in 2018, Client Liaison launched Expo Liaison - an all-encompassing festival of sorts that combined music, food and arts. As one of the most aesthetically tight groups in the country, they were able to bring fans into their entire world in some of their largest venues yet. Impressively, they were able to get Australian icon Johnny Farnham on the lineup to bring the house down with hits from You're The Voice to Pressure Down.

The '80s Bliss Of 'World Of Our Love'

World Of Our Own is Client Liaison's most-streamed song and for good reason. The 2016 track catapulted them to a new level, sky-rocketing to #35 in the triple j Hottest 100. It's an ode to being in love and one of those songs that is immediately able to put you in a good mood.

Off-White Limousine Live At Collins Street, Melbourne

If you've ever seen Client Liaison live you'll know that their energy is absolutely magnetic. They have been festival and live staples for close to a decade and this performance proves why. Off-White Limousine is one of the most adored cuts from their discovery and the love for it was at fever pitch during this Melbourne performance. Thankfully, it's snuck its way onto YouTube. Immortalised forever.

Client Liaison Deluxe Line Fashion Launch At Australian Fashion Week

Client Liaison went from the airwaves to the runway with their fashion line launch back in 2018. The resort-inspired threw it back to '80s Australiana and they replicated that on the runway complete with desert dirt and robust plants. The line is still going strong if you were looking to inject a little CLDL into your wardrobe.
