    We haven’t heard from Rice for eight years, and sobbing along to songs about heartbreak hasn’t felt quite the same in all that time. It’s testament to how excited people are about this return that we are generally freaking out over all 106 seconds of My Favourite Faded Fantasy.
     

    Rice and Rubin recorded in LA, then Iceland: “I came to Rick mostly based on what I didn’t know about him, rather than what I did,” Rice said. “For some reason I just had a feeling that I would feel comfortable being open and being me and being vulnerable with Rick.”

    We’re into it, Rice. We’re into it. If you are too, head over to iTunes to pre-order the album, due out in Australia on November 7.
